Blast Airdrop Participation Details Process

What is Blast

Blast is an L2 (Layer 2) built on Ethereum, dedicated to helping users achieve higher returns. As the only L2 on Ethereum with native yields for both Ether and stablecoins, Blast stands out. It is the first L2 to integrate native yields, setting it apart from other L2 solutions that lack such returns. Over time, assets on other L2s may lose value, but assets on Blast automatically compound.

Blast's earnings are derived from Ethereum staking and RWA protocols. The returns from these decentralized protocols are automatically distributed to Blast users. In contrast, other L2s have a default interest rate of 0%. On Blast, the interest rate for Ether is 4%, and for stablecoins, it is 5%. The goal as contributors is to expand the on-chain economy through the highest-yielding L2. Community members joining our mission will have the opportunity to participate in Blast's airdrop, with the first phase starting [now].

How Blast Operates

Automatic REBASE: Users engage in transactions on Ethereum (ETH), and DApps are built around ETH. Blast is designed from the outset to support native Rebase for ETH on L2.

L1 Staking: Blast achieves this only after the Ethereum network undergoes the Shanghai upgrade this year. Earnings from ETH staked on L1, initially from Lido, automatically transfer to user accounts on L2 through the Rebase of ETH.

T-BILL Earnings: Users bridging stablecoins will receive USDB, Blast's auto-Rebasing stablecoin. The earnings of USDB come from MakerDAO's on-chain T-Bill protocol. When crossing back to Ethereum, USDB can be exchanged for USDC.

How to Participate in the Blast Airdrop

  1. Open the Blast official website: https://blast.io/en-US. Click on [Join Early Access] on the homepage. Note: Mobile devices are not currently supported.

  1. Participating in the early access airdrop activity requires a verification code. Each participating address can only share the invitation code five times. Here are some invitation codes for everyone to use: 07P30 RW2UU 0GI0H 10JVK

  1. Participating in the airdrop involves a total of four steps, and the invitation code part has already been completed. Now, you only need to finish the remaining three steps.

  1. Connect your wallet and choose the [Metamask] option, then invoke the TokenPocket plugin wallet.

Connect your wallet using the TokenPocket plugin wallet. Choose the address holding ETH, click confirm, and complete the process with a signature confirmation.

  1. After successfully connecting the wallet, you will see a prompt to "Check Airdrop."

Click on "Check Airdrop" to search for the connected address. If no airdrop is detected, you can try another wallet or choose to "Continue."

  1. Utilize Blast's official bridging tool. It is recommended to deposit a quantity of 0.1 ETH or more for the transaction. After clicking "Submit" and confirming through the TokenPocket plugin wallet, the deposit operation is completed, and points are obtained. There will be an opportunity to receive the airdrop later.

The only thing to note is that the deposited ETH can only be withdrawn after the withdrawal function comes online in February of next year.

  1. After completing the deposit, you can view more details, including point status, invitation mechanism, leaderboard, and other data.
