✅Cross-chain Tutorial Using Meson

This tutorial demonstrates how to use the Meson cross-chain bridge to transfer BTCB tokens from a BSC wallet to the Bitlayer public chain.

1. Open TokenPocket and tap on the "Discover" menu at the bottom. You can directly search for "Meson" at the top or open Meson by tapping on the "Cross-chain Bridge" category.

2. Select the token BTC (BTCB on the BNB Chain) as the source chain and the BTC token on the Bitlayer chain as the target chain.

3. The maximum amount for exchanging BTC with Meson is 0.2. After setting the amount, the initial exchange requires authorizing the Meson smart contract. You can choose between default authorization or custom authorization amount during this process, depending on your preferences.

4. After completing the authorization, you can proceed with the exchange. After verifying the exchange details, click "Confirm." Then, in the transaction details, finally "Confirm Authorization" and sign, then wait patiently for a moment to complete the token exchange.

The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) addresses are interchangeable, so when we use the BNB Chain for the transfer, the recipient address on Bitlayer will be the same as the sending address. You can synchronize the Bitlayer chain with your TokenPocket wallet to complete the process. Alternatively, you can set a different receiving address during the exchange process.
